The Mushroom Light 2.0

After months of prototyping, tweaking, and probably a few too many coffee-fueled late nights, the Mushroom Light V2.0 is finally here—and it's looking better than ever.

Inspired by the form of mushrooms found in nature, this second iteration takes everything loved about the original and levels it up. The connections aspects have been refined, there's added elegance, curvier silhouette, and improved light diffusion to give it that soft, ambient glow that makes any room feel a little more magical.

The orange-tinted light adds a warm, playful pop of color, perfect for creating cozy vibes. Made from durable ABS and translucent PETG filament, each light is 3D printed over a 24-hour period—because greatness takes time!

The Stelliform Light, named for its star-like form, is designed to be both a functional object and a striking piece of design. This second iteration takes everything great about the original and turns it up a notch (or two).

After countless tweaks and late-night prototype battles, the light now features a brand-new connection mechanism, making it easier to assemble and sturdier than ever. It’s a piece that pushes the boundaries of traditional lighting and embraces the creative freedom only 3D printing can offer.

The updated design includes a bold new base silhouette, 3D printed in a sleek matte PLA that gives it a sculptural, contemporary edge. It’s not just lighting—it’s a conversation starter.

Each light takes just over 14 hours to produce, which means it’s practically artisan. If you're after something that blends function, beauty, and a bit of design geekery, the Stelliform Light might just be your perfect match.

3D printing is the magical process that brings our designs to life. In a time where more and more people are wanting their home to be more than just a place to sleep, but a home full of curated beauty that you truly enjoy spending time in. The desire for unique designs often comes with an unattainable price tag. For us at Cirffa we strive to create functional artworks you can take pride in at a price that is available to more people who want bespoke pieces of design.

Unlike traditional subtractive manufacturing (e.g., machining, where excess material is cut away), 3D printing is an additive process, meaning it only uses the material necessary to build an object. This significantly reduces waste.

While energy consumption varies by printer type and material, 3D printing often requires less energy than conventional manufacturing processes, especially when producing complex or custom items such as Cirffa light's.
